REPAIRS CAN CHANGE. KEEP US IN THE LOOP.
A little coordination goes a long way.
If your repair dates change, tell us.
Reach out before your agreed return date if you need more time. We’ll check availability and review any additional rental days and payment arrangements with you.
Need the rental brought to you?
Ask about delivery to your repair shop or another location for a quoted fee. Required paperwork, your deposit, and any balance due are completed first.
Most rentals are paid by the customer upfront. For qualifying rentals through participating repair shops, we may bill the insurer directly once we confirm and approve the arrangement. A deposit is still required. We’ll explain your payment arrangement and any amount due before you book.
What is a participating repair shop?+
It’s a repair shop that works with RideOn on rental coordination. Qualifying direct billing is available only through participating shops and after confirmation with the insurer. Text us your shop’s name, or ask about participating shops if you haven’t chosen one.
Can I rent if my repair shop doesn’t participate?+
Yes, you can ask about a customer-paid rental, subject to availability and our rental requirements. You pay RideOn upfront and can seek reimbursement from the insurer if eligible. We’ll provide your rental quote before you decide.
What if the insurance company hasn’t confirmed payment yet?+
Tell us where things stand. We can review a customer-paid rental while you wait, subject to availability and qualification. We won’t treat an unconfirmed claim as approved direct billing, and we can’t promise that an insurer will reimburse your costs.
Do I still need a deposit or insurance review?+
Yes. A deposit is required, including for approved direct-billed rentals. Drivers must be at least 21 and have a valid driver’s license. We review insurance coverage and confirm the deposit, documents, and rental terms before booking.
What happens if repairs take longer than expected?+
Contact us before your agreed return date so we can review an extension. Extra days depend on vehicle availability and an updated rental arrangement. If an insurer is paying, its approval for the additional days must also be confirmed.
Can you deliver the rental to my repair shop?+
Ask us about delivery to your repair shop or another location. Delivery is by arrangement for a quoted fee. Required documents, the signed agreement, deposit, and any balance due must be completed before delivery.
What if an attorney is handling my case?+
Mention that when you contact us. We can review lien-based rental options in qualifying attorney-handled cases, subject to documentation and approval. Having an attorney does not automatically qualify a rental. Your attorney or case manager can also contact our team directly.
